Our Clients say it best...
I brought my cat in for a shot to kill a tapeworm. The staff and doctor are all wonderful! I'm thankful I could get an appointment same day and get this over with!
My cat is acting like he feels better already, he's eating again, and I have not seen any more tapeworm segments stuck to his tail. I also had him microchipped so that if he ever gets out again and gets lost, it will be easier to get him back.

A week prior, I made a Monday appointment for routine "booster" shots. The day before our appointment, our Golden Retriever broke out with two hot spots, requiring immediate attention.
Dr. Krome and his staff seamlessly switched from the routine to more intensive care. They had our pup shaved, cleaned up and treated for the spots in no time.
Dr. Krome also pointed out she had an ear infection and put her on an antibiotic for the ear and spots! It was all so efficient and Dr. Krome showed such compassion for our dog, that we would not hesitate to recommend Santa Rosa Veterinary Hospital to every pet lover we know!
It's now a week later, and as a long time retriever owner, familiar with hot spots, I'm really pleased with how quickly she recovered (her ear as well), Dr. Krome knows his stuff!

I recently saw Dr. Krome in public and asked for his advice. I couldn't figure out why my poor kitty was so itchy. I use the "good" (and expensive) flea and tick applications that I purchase at Costco. When I asked doctor Krome if there was a sudden outburst in fleas he confirmed.
He also suggested I only use Advantage. I stopped into PetSmart last night and picked some up, and applied it to Kitty as soon as I got home. This morning, she is no longer chewing the fur off her rump and back. She's just licking her wounds. Now I know she's on the mend. Thank you for your advice, Dr. Krome!!!

I don't stress about taking Gracie to the vet now that I've found this place. First of all, everyone is extremely friendly, my daughter constantly asks if we can take Gracie (our cat) to the vet so she can hang out in the waiting room and meet all the different animals.
When my cat was a kitten she had an emergency and they had me bring her in first thing in the morning and kept her for me so I could go to work, keeping me updated till I was off and able to get her. I love that when I bring her in they don't add on a bunch of stuff and up the bill. I've never looked at a bill and felt it was outrageous.

I would give Santa Rosa Veterinary hospital 10 stars if I could. My original vet, Dr. Steve Krome, moved up here from Blackhawk Veterinary in Danville so I will drive the 70 miles one to have him take care of my Persian cats. He knows his stuff and is personable and fully explains procedures in layperson terms. You won't regret stepping in the door.
