Our primary goal was to make wait times shorter and more comfortable.

Making more efficient use of our reception desk space will speed up your check-in and check-out.

Sherry took the lead in the new design

And by adding a separation wall, we've helped reduce waiting room anxiety for our more introverted patients.

With Dr. Krome in the assist

And now you can choose to look out the window while you wait.

(for all our dog patients, there'll be no more cat's sneaking up behind you, well, unless it's Dobi or Noodle)

If Dr. Krome tells you it's the reverse, please humor him...

He did however, prep, patch up and finish this beautiful piece of wood for the reception desk

(We all knew he's very good at prep and patch up, but check out the finish!)

The species of wood is Parota commonly known as Guanacaste, Rain Tree, Caro Caro or Elephant Ear Tree. It's an Acasia-like species that grows rapidly which makes it highly sustainable. It's also the National tree of Costa Rica.

We found this piece at Heritage Salvage in Petaluma. It originated in Costa Rica, then to be milled it traveled to Mexico, where Heritage has its sawmill.

Heritage is a great source for reclaimed, and sustainably harvested building materials for your home or office project.

And here's our new exam room designed with the kitty in mind!

Come by and take a look for yourself! We'll be getting the Haloween decorations and treats out soon!
